"The electronic duo Mieux is back with a new tune. 'Not Kill' is a quirky but serious homage to South African GQOM vibes, all mixed with grimey bass, house organs reinforced with translucent rhythms and banging pianos. Still, they manage to stay true to that Mieuxishness that is so hard to pinpoint, but that clearly runs through all of their productions. The single, as it somewhat comes out of nowhere, is the first in a series of releases expected over the span of the next months – keeping us constantly guessing where the two will go next."
